Sleeping Jack

Last week one evening, Darrin and I got caught up in talking that we totally forgot that we left Jack quietly watching television. Well needless to say, the reason why he was so quiet...HE WAS ASLEEP-poor fella! And the worst part about it was that he was asleep sitting up! ~January 3, 2007

My Two Favorite Boys!

Darrin ("Daddy") and Jackson early one morning before Daddy headed off to work. During the day I (mommy) will ask Jack where Daddy is and he will respond: "At Work!" In fact, any time Darrin isn't at home, he's "at work" according to Jack. BTW: Jack is in love with the movie "Cars" hence the Dinoco car in hand. ~January 2007

Happy 31st Birthday to Me! (Aly)

This is what 31 looks like. Fortunately, my hubby loves me for me and my children too. It doesn't get better than that. Happy Birthday and hopefully many more. Friday, January 5, 2007

Happy 31st Birthday to Me! (Aly)

For my birthday, Darrin to me to Ruth's Kris for dinner-that's all I wanted. We had so much fun talking, eating, talking more, eating even more. The food was fabulous and we loved our server, Annette. To start, we shared a house salad and BBQ shrimp. For dinner we had a t-bone steak and salmon with potato wedges. (I am not sure that I would order the potato wedges again as we only got 4 and they were a little soggy, not crispy and for $7.50, you'd think you would get more than just one potato!) Any who, and then we finished the night off with chocolate sin cake and the most mouth watering banana cream pie (white chocolate custard inside). Oh, the whole dinner was so worth every calorie. And of course, we had all the Diet Coke you could drink. We had to save calories some where???!!! The tab for the whole meal: $140.66. OK, so we wont be going out there every Friday, heck every month, OK, maybe only on monumental birthdays...Needless to say, we loved it.

Darrin also surprised me with a new digital camera (hence the better quality photos now!) and the book: You: On A Diet by Dr. Oz and Dr. Roizen, as seen on the Oprah Show. This was truly the perfect evening.
