Microsoft Campus Jam 2012

We ran the Microsoft Campus Jam 5K Family run today.  It was the most perfect weather to such a fun activity.  We "warmed" up to the Seattle Seahawks "Blue Thunder."  Now I think I have found Jack's calling in life: percussion!  They were absolutely cool to watch and listen to.  Really looking forward to football season this year.  That is a must.

Blitz greeted all the runners as we crossed the finish line.  I got a high five-yeeha.  At least that's something after running 3.23 mile while pushing 2 girls in a stroller and still managing to finish in 30 minutes...not too shabby for this out of shape, flu stricken, "thirty something" mom.

I am always amazed at the events Microsoft seems to give.  Today was no different.  After the run, we each were greeted to smoothies, unlimited drinks, fully catered boxed lunches-and they were over the top- toys/prizes, face paintings, rock climbing, to name a few.  The Sounders were there for one of one soccer training, along with the Seahawks, and Mariners.  The kids were more interested in the trampoline jumping.  The kids flipped, bounced, turned, jumped...even Surrey screamed from excitement.  It was great to watch.
