Snoqualmie Half Marathon

Me at mile 7: Darrin and the kids drove out to meet us to cheer us along our long run, when fatigue sets in. So this was a very fun and much needed surprise.

We did it. All 13.1 miles. And despite my lack of training, proper nutrition, the two week flu, Annie and I finished under 2 hours. My "official" time was 1:56. Jack and Megan met us as we made our last loop around the track before crossing the finish line. Jack ran with Annie and Megan ran with me. As Megan and I held hands, we crossed that glorious and much anticipated line together. I couldn't have asked for better running partners between Annie and then Jack and Megan to finish it off.
**Annie is Jack's second grade teacher and she is AMAZING!! Our whole family absolutely loves her. In fact, I have told her and the principal that I will do whatever I can to get Megan in her class in a year from now. We just feel so blessed that she has come into our lives.
