Swimming with the Simonsen's

Wednesday, May 20th, 2009- We invited Corrine and her two small ones-Emily and Timmy- to spend the afternoon splashing around in our new "Costco" swimming pool. (On Monday, we hit almost 90F and it felt like a scorcher and mommy needed some sort of relief in her own backyard for the next couple of months...). So we headed to Costco the very next day and bought our own personal swimming pool. Yes, we have a neighborhood pool just across the street, but that's not always convenient.

So any who, we spent the afternoon watching the children enjoy themselves, despite the hot weather and freezing water...we tried pouring hot tap water into the pool, but didn't help. In a month, they will be boiling to death, as it will turn into a personal hot tub-never can win here in Utah. Can't wait for this beached whale to plant her fat arse in it!
