Over the break, we took Nanny and Papa to the Ballard Locks. These are some of the views, as the fresh water from Lake Union meet up with the dam of the Puget Sound. We were fortunate to see three boats pass through, especially during the slow winter months. Needless to say, it was a freezing day. But no rain!!
