This year, we invited all the Allred Family over for pie and hot cider at our new house. We almost had a 100% turnout: Grandma and Grandpa (aka Mom and Dad); Charlie, Heather, and Ainslee; Spencer; Penn and Kiersten; Halley (on mission); Alex, and of course, us (Darrin, Aly, Jack, and Megan). We ate lots of pie, even the semi burnt pumpkin pie that Darrin slaved over all morning and our favorite: Costco's Carmel Apple pie! Grandma brought hot cider and wassail, which was so nice for all the heavy snow we received that morning. We think that we are going to make this "Pie Night" a family Christmas tradition! ~Saturday, December 16th, 2006
