Jack and Potty Training

For any parent who has or is attempting potty training their child, they know what a task and vigorous family project it is. We have bribed Jack with shark gummies, toys, Lightning McQueen, you name it, NOTHING has worked. One Saturday, we told Jack that he could watch any movie he wanted (portable DVD player, brilliant invention) on the potty, if he just sat there until he went. Two movies later...Jack fell asleep on the potty... Poor little guy, he couldn't even keep his head up, he was so tired. This really wore him out! I will never admit that Darrin and I know how to potty train a child until it actually happens. ~January 2007
